A traditional garden with curving walls in South Leicestershire
Project Description
Wildlife garden for a barn conversion in Warwickshire
This beautiful old property has been renovated by the owners to include a stunning oak garden room, but the garden needed attention around the house to introduce some seating areas, including space for the hot tub. The clients were keen to encourage wildlife into the garden, but also that it was dog friendly and had a sense of being separate rooms.
The end result is a series of terrace areas connected together by gravel pathways. Tumbled sandstone paving compliments the property, along with some feature brick walls, designed to nestle among the textural planting of bee-friendly perennials and grasses. Balau hardwood decking is used around the hot tub area and gives the client views down the garden towards their orchard. Hornbeam hedges add screening and winter structure.
